The charged cost for use of NMR spectrometers is based on the actual cost. For academic users that inculdes running and service costs as well as staff time for basic maintenance.
For industrial users, the hourly rate also includes depreciation as well as 2 hours per project to cover the administrative work, communication and simple sample handling. For staff time above this, the industry hourly rate is SEK 1400/h.
Structural biology
On the price below, 80% subsidy is applied for academic projects
600 - 900 MHz with cryoprobes, SEK 150 SEK/h (Industry projects pay 600 SEK/h)
New price from April 1st: 200 SEK/h for academic projects and 650 SEK/h for industry
Academic projects includes 10 hrs of staff for pre & post-analytical handling & analysis.
Additional staff time = charged after discussion

Dissolution DNP samples
For dissolution DNP, the cost per sample includes all sample matrix components, hyperpolarization, dissolution and all spectra recorded at 800 MHz TXO cryo probe. For projects involving 8 or more samples, please request a quote.
For industry projects, support is billed on a per hour fee of 1400 SEK/h. Time for sample preparation is included in the sample cost.
