Third generation sequencing has although taken the scientific community by storm, the applications and worth of this technology in the field metagenomics is still very unclear. Especially for the microbial communities that reside in more complex and diverse environments. Here, in this session we will try to discuss some of those aspects and what is the best available strategy to study these communities.
