Example structure of feedback session

    • Overview of your research project

    • Aims

    • (Pause for feedback)

  • Introduction to methods

    • Describe methods (used methods or methods that you plan to use)

    • Issues faced with these methods?

  • Presentation of (preliminary) results

    • Show key findings with data visualizations

  • Future directions and questions

    • Outline next steps and ask specific questions for feedback.

  • Summarize key feedback and plan next actions.

Make sure to pause for feedback after each section!

PhD supervisors and advisors

You don’t need to prepare anything for the feedback session, but we encourage you to participate actively in the discussions and create an encouraging atmosphere to support the PhD students, and create valuable connections.
