Existing work | Irene Stevens (Unlicensed) | Irene has a medical background, started by setting up a web form with questions Collected ~34 responses so far using a Microsoft App and started building a prototype dashboard Had difficulties sharing the Microsoft products publicly, without any form of authentication

Open source tool | Phil Ewels | dan.rosen (Unlicensed) heard about https://github.com/BustByte/coronastatus and shared it with the group Open source solution build using nodejs + yarn. Can be deployed using a docker container Has support for localisation and translation. Designed for locally installed instances in different countries Homepage has intro followed by survey that can be completed by anyone. Other pages show a map of responses and summary statistics. All data is open and can be downloaded in .csv format as well as being accessible through an API
|
Survey questions | Phil Ewels | Existing questions were started with a Norwegian list and then merged with a set of questions from a preprint discussing predictive modelling of coronavirus infections Discussion of questions can be found here: https://github.com/BustByte/coronastatus/issues/245 Potentially some flexibility in the questions if needed. Good to keep these as static as possible once the site launches however.

Hosting | Linus Östberg (Unlicensed) | |
Domain name
|
| Would be good to avoid tethering the domain to any specific institution (SciLifeLab / UU etc) coronastatus.se is the logical domain to fit in with the network, but is taken corona-status.se is possible We can address this at a later date, easy to move the site between domains as needed

Promotion of websites | Phil Ewels | Key to this project being a success is it (a) being endorsed by the community and (b) not competing with other similar initiatives Idea is to build a prototype version of the site and write a proposal. Then make this plan available to management and ask for feedback and suggestions. Relevant channels will be key - who does this come from?
